Wellcome Trust University Award
We are delighted to announce that Dr Guy Kahane, Deputy Director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics has received a University Award from the Wellcome Trust that will establish a permanent University Lecturership in Practical Ethics at the Philosophy Faculty at Oxford, and fund a five year research project entitled ‘Well-being, consciousness and moral decision-making’.
The Wellcome Trust’s University Award scheme allows universities to attract strategically important research staff who will take up academic positions within a university department.
