DPhil student in Philosophy, Alice Evatt, along with DPhil History student Henry Tann have created a new humanities and existential risk podcast. Alliance is jointly produced with Oxford Podcasts and The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH), and is available on iTunes and Spotify. TORCH and the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute sponsor the podcast, which also received the AHRC/TORCH Graduate Fund.
Each episode will feature conversations with an expert in the humanities about various research on issues including AI, nuclear warfare, climate change and pandemics. In the latest episode, the creators talk with David Chalmers about AI and philosophy.
