Charlotte's research interests include time series econometrics, intergenerational governance, persistence studies, and long-run economic growth. She studied philosophy, politics, and economics at the University of Warwick, and studies mathematics at the University of Hagen. Previously, she interned at the European Parliament, worked on EU AI policy at the Future of Life Institute, on competition economics at the German Institute of Economic Research, and researched the (potential) diffusion of artificial intelligence regulation.
