Adam Caulton

My previous post was at the LMU Munich, where I was an Assistant Professor. Prior to that I held a British Academy Junior Research Fellowship at the University of Cambridge, intermitting in 2014 to take up a position as Visiting Professor at the University of Pittsburgh.

My research is focused on the philosophy of science, in particular the philosophy of physics, and neighbouring issues in metaphysics, logic and the philosophy of language. I have published a number of papers which reflect my particular interests in quantum mechanics, quantum field theory and the role that a variety of symmetries play in the interpretation of physical theories.
