Carlotta Pavese (Oxford): 'General intelligence, skills, and natural kinds'
Abstract: By comparing two psychological models of general intelligence that have arisen within psychometrics at the beginning of the last century—one well-known and still massively influential, the other one much less influential and now undeservingly forgotten---I argue that general intelligence should be understood in terms of skills rather than the other way around.
