This workshop, organised by Lisa Forsberg, Isra Black, Jonathan Herring, and Anthony Skelton, brings together academics working in philosophy and law to explore children's consent to medical treatment in addition to a range of closely related issues, including children’s values, wellbeing, responsibility, and decision-making capacity. The event will provide a broader understanding of these matters and of the nature of childhood and of consent more broadly. Full details of the event, including the programme, may be found at: https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/research-and-subject-groups/childrens-consent-philosophy-and-law-conversation
A very limited number of attendee places, including provision for six early-career researchers (graduate students or non-permanent staff), are available. Please express your interest by 28 February to childrensconsent[at]gmail.com.
