Theology, philosophy, and intellectual history, with a focus on the interconnections between Christianity, European and American philosophy, and literature in modern culture. Dr Rasmussen is currently at work on a volume entitled Christianity and the Cultures of Modernity (under contract with Princeton University Press), and is one of the editors of Kierkegaard's Journals and Notebooks (11 volumes, also Princeton University Press).
