The Institute for Ethics in AI invites all Oxford philosophers (and philosophers elsewhere) to attend the workshop 'Artificial Intelligence and Collective Agency,' on 3 and 4 July. The workshop will discuss analogies between AI systems and "group agents" like corporations and states, and the ethical significance of having AI systems embedded in such group agents. The keynote speakers will be Kendy M. Hess (College of the Holy Cross), Kenneth Silver (Trinity College Dublin) and Alan Morrison (Oxford). You can register to attend here. More information is available at the workshop's website, or by emailing David Storrs-Fox.
