Alison Hills (St. John’s College, Oxford): 'Moral Testimony and Moral Responsibility'
Abstract: In this paper, I consider whether if you trust moral testimony, you can transfer moral responsibility from to the speaker, so that you can “buck pass” blame or requests for justification to the speaker. I consider three possible ways that responsibility might be transferred, culminating in an account of shared agency.
